About Pixel File
Pixel File started with a frustration most people know well: you need to do one small thing to a file, compress a photo, convert a HEIC, merge two PDFs, and the internet answers with a signup form, a watermark, or a desktop app download. We built the opposite: a set of free tools that open instantly, do one job well, and ask for nothing.
What Makes Pixel File Different
Everything runs in your browser. Most online tools upload your file to a server, process it there, and send it back. Pixel File tools do the work on your own device with JavaScript. That means no upload wait, no server queue, and total privacy: your files literally cannot leak, because they never leave your computer or phone.
Free means free. No accounts, no daily limits, no watermarks, no “pro” tier holding back the features you actually need. If a tool is on this site, the whole tool is free.
Built for real jobs. Each tool targets something people actually do: shrink a photo before uploading it to a job application, turn iPhone HEIC photos into JPGs, combine scanned pages into one PDF, change DPI metadata for a print submission. The settings stay simple and the results download immediately.
